Artist Statement<\/p>

Film found me through music.<\/h2>

My path to filmmaking began because the visuals being created for my music rarely captured the story I saw in my head. Learning to create those images myself changed the direction of my life.<\/p>

My work is increasingly centered on stories rooted in real life, especially people and environments that are often stereotyped, sensationalized, or overlooked. I want to use cinema not to sanitize those experiences or exploit them, but to understand them.<\/p><\/div>

Shed light. Educate. Entertain. Create understanding through story.<\/blockquote><\/section>\n\n

Filmmaker Development<\/p>

From artist to filmmaker.<\/h2><\/div>

Cameron began as a musical artist creating visuals for his own work before discovering a deeper passion for filmmaking. He earned an Associate's degree in Computer Animation and later pursued a BFA in Digital Cinematography at Full Sail University.<\/p>

Graduate study represents the next stage: developing a stronger directorial voice, expanding narrative filmmaking skills, and creating work capable of exploring real experiences with greater depth.<\/p><\/div><\/section>\n\n

Why MFA?<\/p>

Technical proficiency is only part of becoming a filmmaker.<\/h2>
